ARIZONA NONAGENARIAN SETS WEIGHTLIFTING WORLD RECORD

(Reuters) - A barrel-chested 91-year-old strongman from Arizona shattered the planet record for the bench press in his dwindling people, with a carry of 187.2 pounds - some fifty pounds quite the previous record.

Sy Perlis bested the record of a hundred thirty five pounds set in 2005 throughout a national competition last weekend in Phoenix because the lone participant within the 90-year-old and over division, competition officers aforementioned.
